These photographs were taken in the less explored neighborhoods of Manhattan and The Bronx during the summer months of 2011.
Obviously, I am focusing on a particular face of the summer metropolis and some of my photographs depict people sweating away in tough and broken neighborhoods, but I also try to show the fun that can be had in the summer streets, as well as the irony and the surreal, timeless outlook of certain scenarios I come across.
The project is entirely shot and processed with an iPhone. I have a live daily feed (or stream) of my photographic explorations using what has recently become one of the most successful photo-sharing sites, especially amongst iPhone photographers: Instagram
