For the past ten years, Giovanni Savino produced a large body of work, mainly in the Dominican Republic, probably the most under-studied area of the Caribbean. His photography, live music recordings and documentary films received exposure on PBS Channel, CNN and other media outlets, rapidly becoming part of important international academic collections, to be used as a reference and teaching tool.

Giovanni Savino's photo archives contain, to this day, over ninety thousand high-resolution photographs and new material will be gradually uploaded to this site and made available for purchase as a digital download or as high quality prints.
